“PETTICOAT LANE”

PERFORMANCE THIS EVENING ••petticoat Lane,” the excellent fair of the Takapuna Boating Club, will be held for the last time to-night. At the last performance the numerous stalls of the gaily-dressed costermongers were well patronised, while the crowd in the Fun Factory downstairs testified to its popularity. The Haunted Castle was once more in great demand and contained, in addition to mysterious lights and sliding floors, an ultra-modern spook. During the evening selections were rendered by the Port Auckland Band and a short sketch was presented by the children of Petticoat Lane A free boat will leave Auckland at 7.40 p.m.
