MEMBER’S REMARK AVONDALE JOCKEY CLUB “The racecourse property is there for the use of everyone, for sports, training camps; in fact, everything, except on our race days,” said Mr. Donald McLeod, president, at the annual meeting of the Avondale Jockov Club to-day. “For everything except Rugby League,” interjected Mr. J. Gleeson. The president went on to say that, owing to the heavy rating, the time had come when they must consider passing some of the rating burden on to the other users.
