MAN KILLED AT MORNINGSIDE

KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR Through being knocked down by a motor-car in Western Springs Road* Morningside, about 5.30 yesterday evening, Mr. Gilbert Snell received injuries which resulted in his death at 3.40 this morning. The driver of the car. Mr. J. H. Hayes, of 18 Spring Road. Morningside, stated this morning that as he was proceeding along Western Springs Road Snell stepped out in front of the car. and that it was impossible to avoid the colllision.

Mr. Snell, who' was about 45. was taken to the Auckland Hospital suffering from a fractured skull- He lived at 18 Kingsland Avenue, Kingsland.
