PRINCESS AND TIVOLI

“THE DENVER DUDE” Beautiful scenery—the best to be found—will provide the background for every film production in which the popular star, Hoot Gibson, appears. That is the decision of the star and of Universal Pictures Corporation, to which Gibson is under contract, even if it necessitates a lengthy location trip. An example of the new quality to be found in all films with the popular star appearing is Denver Dude,” the Universal-Jewel production which is now being shown at the Princess and Tivoli Theatres. The entire company making the picture travelled more than five hundred miles to one of the most beautiful scenic spots in the State of California in order to find a suitable background in which to film the exterior scenes, and especial care was taken with the photography. “The Denver Dude” was directed by Reaves Eason, himself an expert at cinematography, in addition to his capabilities as a director. The story ' was written by Earle Snell and | adapted to the screen by Carl Krusada j and William Lester.
