C.T.A. FOUNDER DEAD

LATE MR. A. C. STEVENSON The death of Mr. Archibald Clarke Stevenson occurred at his home, Hall’s Avenue, Remuera, on Friday. Mr. Stevenson was born in Auckland 61 years ago. He was a director of the firm of Archibald Clark and Sons. Ltd., and was one of the founders of the Auckland Commercial Travellers’ and Warehousemen’s Association. and in 1907 held the office of president. In 1916 he was president of the United New Zealand Association. An enthusiastic bowler, Mr. Stevenson was a member and one-time president of the Remuera Club. He was not married, and is survived by his brother, Mr. J. Melville Stevenson, Remuera, and five sisters—Mrs. R. Rose. Mrs. Bertram Dawson. Miss Jessie Stevenson (Remuera). Mrs. Seavill /Waingaro), and Mrs. Gavin (Blenheim)*
