(THE SUN’S Parliamentary Reporter 4 WELLINGTON, Friday. ’J'HAT at least some members of thi House are anxious to discuss the report of the Auckland Water Commission was shown in the House tfr day, when Mr. A. Harris, Waitemata, asked the Minister of Health whether in view of the importance of the matter to Auckland and districts, tin Minister would have the report madt available to members. The Minister of Health, the Hon. J. A. Young;, said the report concerned only 15 local bodies, every one of which had been written to and offered copies of the report at £5 a'copy. The original had cost £3O, and in view of the heavy cost of securing copies several local bodies did not require them. The document comprised 107 pages of matter, with one or two small additions attached. If it were to be laid on the table of the House and In printed, 500 copies would have to be secured, and this would be costly. The circumstances did not warrant this. Mr. Harris: But surely Auckland members can have copies. Mr. Young: It is available for mem* bers to peruse. Mr. V. H. Potter: The local bodies concerned are all important ones, however. The Minister added that copies taken from the original would hare to be carefully checked. Mr. T. W. Rhodes: Printing it would obviate this risk*
