Here’s Your Opportunity Draw “Old Ironsides” BE an artist with a typewriter! All you have to do is to make a picture of “Old Ironsides.
A “Newsograph” is a picture made with a typewriter. Try your hand at the art; the first prize, donated by the management of the New Regent Theatre is £3 3s, and there is a second prize of £2 2s given by THE SUN while Paramount Pictures is providing six consolation prizes of 10s 6d each. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY The conditions of the competition are: “Newsographs” must be made with a typewriter; no other agency may be employed.
Ink, pencil, paint, or crayon must not be used. Each competitor must sign the entry torn] printed ou this page, and attach it to the entry. Entries must be addressed — “Newsograph” THE SUN, 42 Wyndham Street, Auckland Any number of entries may be sent in. Entries must reach THE SUN Office tn 5 p.m. on July 9.
