TUESDAY’S CONCERT For the second concert of the sixth season to be given by the Aeolian Orchestra at the Town Hall Concert Chamber on Tuesday night next, a varied and very interesting programme will be submitted Included in a carefully selected programme are, Haydn’s “London” symphony, Blankenburg’s “Gladiator’s Farewell” march, overture to “Raymond” by Thomas, Verdi’s “La Traviata,” Wagner’s “Grand March” from “Tannhauser,” Schumann’s “Nachtstucke,” Poldini’s “Valse Poupee,” a string piece “Fruhlingsgruss,’ and two bracketed numbers, “Poeme Elegique” (Fucik) and “Pizzicata” from “Sylvia” (Delibes). The assisting vocalists are to be Miss Gladys Hosking and Mr. Ernest Snell. The box plans are now open at the E. and F. Piano Agency, Queen Street.
