The birth of an heir in a distinguished family necessitated about 1,000 miles of extra travel for the Adolphe Menjou Company making “Evening Clothes,’ ’his latest Paramount starring picture. The heir in this cast happened to be a thoroughbred cojt, and the pro* duction schedule of the company "'a® built around the arrival of the youngster because the script required a “new born foal,” any colt over three days old would not do. . So, just as soon as word was flashed from the fashionable Burlingame (Calin.) stable where the colt's mamma was domiciled, that the heir had arrived, the company left for San Francisco, whence they proceeded to Burlingame. As Menjou had the task, called for W the script, of carrying the colt in arms, he indicated his satisfactio that it was as old as it was or a® young.
