AT MAJESTIC TO-NIGHT “The Gorilla Hunt,” to be shown at the Majestic Theatre to-night, is a new type of picture, while it typifies the willingness of a man to risk his life for humanity, it, at the same time, is a thriller of the first water. Ben Burbridge, famous American hunter, ventured through terrific dangers to secure these pictures, and he deserves the applause of the whole world, for the marvellous results of his skill and daring. The picture takes you up the mysterious Congo, through lands where white had never travelled, and after hardships that would have stopped a less tenacious man than Burbridge, the expedition does finally reach the gorilla country. After the expedition left Stanleyville the lives of the party were ever in the most deadly danger Africa is cursed by poisonous snakes and the Congo is infested to an even ! greater extent than is the rest of the j continent. Added to the natural | terrors of loathsome reptiles and j hungry carnivors, there are strange | races of almost prehistoric peoples. (Some of them are avowed cannibals. | and even more hideous are the tiny Batwa pygmies that by means of their | poisoned arrow's, are a continual threat I of death.
