IMPUDENT ROGUE

COLLECTING FOR POOR MAKES GOOD LIVING (From Our Own Correspondent. ) CAMBRIDGE, To-day. Frank Hector Amundsen, aged 22. had only a brief sojourn in Cambridge. He arrived on Wednesday, was arrested yesterday and appeared before justices this morning and sentenced to one month’s hard labour on a charge of being a rogue and a vagabond and with obtaining money by fraud. Evidence showed the accused was going from house to house representing that he was collecting on behalf of destitute families. He was successful to the extent that the money was used to provide himself with an easy livelihood.
