IN SECOND PLACE “MISS NEW ZEALAND 1927” BILLIE /®DREASSON STILL LEADS Miss Hildred Graham is now in second place in the “Miss New Zealand 1927“ competition. _ Miss Billie Andreasson is still In the lead. Third place is occupied by Miss Billie Sim. The 16 semi-finalists will make their last appearance on the stages at the Majestic and Regent Theatres tonight. The four semi-finalists selected by to-night’s vote will next week appear at these theatres in screen tests. From the quartette will be selected “Miss Auckland” and her Maid of Honour. Theatre audiences will exercise their votes for these positions next week.
To-day’s count placed the candidates as follows:
