DAIRY FACTORY FAILURE
COMPANY IN LIQUIDATION (From t Our Own Correspondent.) OPOTIKI, To-day. At an extraordinary meeting of shareholders of the Waiotahi Cooperative Dairy Company, Ltd., held at Waiotahi yesterday, a resolution waa unanimously adopted that the company go into voluntary liquidation, and that Mr. T. H. Pearson, secretary of th« company, be appointed liquidator. A further meeting will be called at a later date to confirm the resolution. It is understood that the step has been found necessary owing to the supply being diverted to other factories. A suggestion is made that the present factory should be converted into a bacon factory, as it is considered sufficient numbers of pigs are available in the Opotiki district to wa.rrant the step being taken.
