The trip over and the warmer climate had no beneficial effect on her headpiece. She has been tried with every kind of treatment, but consistently declined to leave the mark till the Duke and Duchess of York visited W.A. recently. At a meeting held in honour of the Royal visitors, Adelaide Thorpe left the mark and won handsomely. She is by Our Thorpe from Lady Linton, the dam of Chaos and Serenity.
