EVANGELICAL ALLIANCE

BRANCH FORMED IN AUCKLAND A branch of the Interdenominational and International Evangelical Alliance has been formed in Auckland. At a meeting on Monday, the Rev. F. H. Spencer gave an address on the aims and objects of the alliance. It was active in the promotion of cooperation, unity, and the cause of religious liberty, he said, and in its endeavour to maintain the Protestant and re-formed nature of the Book of Common Prayer, and of those laws and statutes which had made the British nation pre-eminent in the world today.
