Among the guests staying at the Star Hotel is Mrs. Merrikin, of Raurimu. * * * Visitors from overseas include Mr. and Mrs. S. Dubb, of London. They are at the Grand Hotel. * * * Visitors from the South include Mr. and Mrs. H. Chowne, of Dunedin. They are at the Grand Hotel. * * * Miss C. Langlan, of Wellington, is at the Albert Hotel. At the Grand Hotel are Mr. and Mrs. H. Spurrier, from London. Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Aclamson are among the guests at the ISoyal Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. R. Ivory, cf Tauranga', are at the Central Hotel. * * * Professor James Adamson, of Victoria University College at Wellington, has been admitted by the Chief Justice, Sir Charles Skerrett, as a barrister of the Supreme Court.
