WOMAN SEVERELY INJURED

KNOCKED DOWN BY BUS Mrs. E. J. Winks, of 143 Parnell Road, was knocked down by a motorbus near the Parnell Post Office about seven o’clock yesterday evening. Mrs. Winks, who is a widow, aged 65, was severely injured about the head. After being attended to by Dr. A. Kinder she was taken to “Awanui” Private Hospital.
