GOING ABROAD

MR. COHEN FAREWELLED , PALMERSTON, To-day. A well-known personality of the southern portion of the North Island, in Mr. Maurice Cohen, of Palmerston North, purposes leaving the Dominion on a year’s trip abroad in the near future. During his absence Mr. Cohen will represent the New Zealand Harbour Boards as delegate at a harbour conference in St. Louis. At Monday’s meeting of the Rotary Club, the opportunity was taken by Rotarian Murray to extend best wishes and goodwill to the departing member, while Rotarian District Governor Charles Rhodes, of Auckland, also expressed the best wishes and goodwill of Rotarians.
