ELLERSLIE ON TOP
In the senior B League Rugby competition, Ellerslie is at present leading with an unbeaten record so far. On Saturday, howevtr, the racecourse suburb had a very close shave, just managing to scramble home against Parnell by a single point in a total of 41 points scored in a fast and exciting exhibition of the 13 a-side code.
