“VERY OLD OFFENDER”

MAN WITH 72 CONVICTIONS With 72 convictions entered up against him, Edward Knox, aged 51, left the Police Court moaning this morning. He had been fined 20s in default 48 hours’ imprisonment for drunkenness and £4, in default 10 days* imprisonment for using obscene language.

Sub-Inspector Lewin described him as “a very old offender.”
