PAKURANGA HUNT CLUB
SUCCESSFUL MEET AT PAPATOETOE ON SATURDAY The call of the huntsman was responded to by a large number of followers on Saturday when the popular Pakuranga Hunt Club staged a pleasant and successful day’s sport at Mr. F. A. Price’s farm, Ranginui, Papatoetoe. Mr. Price’s extensive property affords excellent scope for hunting, the fences being in splendid order and the going good. SPLENDIID SPORT The sport opened under favourable conditions, and until the cold atmosphere of the winter afternoon made its presence felt scent was keen. Hares were abundant, and with the hounds working well followers had a delightful outing. The assistance given by the huntsman and his aid€.- de camp was appreciated by those in attendance, while gratification was also widely expressed at the enjoyable function provided by Mr. Price.
