Young Maori's Death.—Tuo Kumeroa, a Maori, aged 20, received fatal injuries at the Waikiki Maori settlement, on the Wanganui River, on Friday. He was driving a horse through a gate when it kicked him in the chest nth both hind feet.

Hutt Road Collision.- -A collision between a car and a bus on the Hutt Road, Wellington, yesterday evening, resulted in a little girl who was a passenger in the bus, receiving cuts about the face from broken glass. Her injuries were not serious. The cor was hadly damaged, but the driver, Mr. Ritchie, of Lyall Bay, escaped unhurt.
