Council, under the powers and authorities conferred by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, at a meeting to be held on TUESDAY, the 12th day of July, 1927, at 7.30 p.m.. to make and levy the following Rate .or Charge:— In respect of all water supplied per Meter, a MINIMUM CHARGE OF THIRTY SHILLINGS, covering the period commenced October 1, 1926, and ending September 30, 1927. For fill water consumed during the said period in excess of 20,000 gallons, a Rate or Charge of ONE SHILLING AND SIXPENCE PER THOUSAND GALLONS. Such Rate or Charge to be clue and payable, in respect of the Minimum Charge, on July 14, 1927. The Charge for Excess Supply to be due and payable October 1, 1927. H. J>OR< Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Mount Albert Borough Council, at a Meeting to be held on TUESDAY, the 12th day of July, 1927, at 7.30 p.m., in the Council Chamber, New North Road, Morningside, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Rating Act, 1925, and the respective amendments thereof, to make and levy the following Rates, 1. A General Rate of Three-fifths of a Penny in the £. 2. Separate Rates of 47-200ths of a Penny in the £, for Lighting; One Farthing in the £ for Hospitals and Charitable Aid, and 33-200ths of a Penny in the £ for Auckland and Suburban Drainage. The above Rates to be upon the Capital Value of all rateable property within the. Borough of Mount Albei t. 3. A Uniform Sanitation Fee, made tinder Section SO of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920 (in connection with the removal of house and shop refuse only), at the rate of Seven Shillings and Sixpence upon each and every dwelling the borough. 4. A Consumers’ Water Rate, upon all lands and buildings to which water is supplied otherwise than per meter, whose annual value does not exceed £l2 10s, ten shillings per annum; exceeding that value, a Rate of Five Pounds per centum per annum on such Annual Value. 5. A Non-Consumers’ Water Rate upon each and every ‘‘property to which water can be, but is not supplied, situate within one hundred yards from* any part of the Borough Waterworks, one half of the foregoing amounts, Of the Annually-recurring SPECIAL RATES there shall be collected the following respectively stated fractions of a Penny in the £, viz.: 1902 Drainage Loan—l7-100ths of a 1904 Main Road Loan—l-100th. 1904-7 Water Loans—3-50ths. £30,000 Government Loan—r3 r 4oths. 1915 Drainage Loan—l-looth. 1916 Drainage Loan —3-200ths. £29.500 Government Loan—3-50ths. 1920 Drainage Loan—49-200ths. 1920 Roading Loan—-3-10ths. 19.22 Water Supply Loan—7-lQoths. 1923 Kingsland Overbridge Loan—-7-200ths. 1922 Drainage Advances Loan—l-200th 1923 Quarry Site Loan —l-50th. 1923 Eden dale Road Loan—3-50ths. 1925 Fire Brigade Loan—l-40th. 1925 Stormwater Drainage Loan—-3-200ths. 3 925 Water Supply Loan—l-25th. 1926 Drainage Loan—l-200th. 1926 Roading Loan—l-40th. 3 926 Buildings Loan—l-200th.
