AWARUA RESIDENT’S DEATH

THE LATE MR. W. DUNNING The death occurred recently at Avarua, near Kaikohe, of Mr. Walter Dunning, who was born at High gate, London, and came to New Zealand in 1874. He lived at Parua Bay, Whangarei. for several years. Before going to Avarua, he was farming at Makuri. The late Mr. Dunning took a keen interest in local body matters. In his younger days he was a keen athlete, and was greatly interested in all branches of sport. His wife, four daughters and one son, survive him.
