POSSIBLE CLUE TO BURWOOD MURDERER (Special to THE SUN.) CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. W H ILE engaged in cutting scrub on one of the City Council reserves at Bottle Lake this morning, workmen employed under the unemployment relief scheme discovered a blood-smeared military overcoat. The spot where it was found is not a great distance from the scene of the murder of Gwendoline Scarff. An examination of the coat revealed no name or other clue to its owner. It would fit a man of medium height. The coat is now in the possession of the police.
