FOR ST. DAVID’S CHURCH

REMODELLING AN ORGAN In the workshop of Mr. G. Crofts, organ-maker, Rendall Place, the organ which used to serve in St. David’s Church is being remodelled for the new church. Previously it was a divided instrument, the great organ on one side of the church and the swell organ on the other side. The alterations are chiefly to enable it to be fitted into a new position, but another stop, octave couplers and a tremulant are being added. The front also will be redesigned, introducing two towers. The organ was made by Mr. Crofts 22 year's ago. Another organ made 18 years ago for the Methodist Church, Epsom, is being enlarged into a two-manual instrument for the Remuera Methodist Church.
