ROYAL BOULEVARD
LONDON’S NEW STREET KING AND QUEEN ACCLAIMED C British Official Wireless.) , RUGBY, Thursday. Their Majesties the King and Queen drove in semi-State to-day along Regent Street, which has been completely rebuilt since the war. The Royal visit was an occasion for a great outburst of popular enthusiasm, and the street was closely lined with people. Although expensive decorations were discouraged by the King, many buildings were gaily decked with flowers and flags, and presented a fine spectacle.—A. and N.Z.
