LEAGUE PLAYERS FOR ENGLAND
WILSON-HALL’S OFFER TURNED DOWN BY HALIFAX LEAGUE CLUB TN a cablegram received by the -*• well-known Canterbury League player, Wilson-Hall, it is stated that his terms are too high, and therefore not acceptable to the Halifax Club. Wilson-Hall, however, does not appear to be very upset about the news, and he intends to leave with the other two Auckland players, L. Brown and B. Davidson, on Monday night, to join the Corinthic, which will sail from Wellington on Thursday. On his arrival in England he hopes, after entering into further negotiations, to come to some agreement with the Halifax Club, but should this fail he will probably join another club.
