WEST END’S GOOD YEAR
At the annual meeting of the West End Club the. annual report and balance sheet showed that the club had experience'll a very successful year. The president congratulated the members on the good financial position, urging the incoming executive to continue the policy of the retiring executive. Mr. J. W. Hardley, president of the Dominion Bowling Association, presented the prizes as follows: Champion singles, Mr. J. F. Hosking; champion pairs, Messrs. G. S. Ivirkham and A. Thomson; handicap pairs, Messrs. G. Hedlund and W. A. Knox; club fours, Messrs. H. Hilford, R. G. Cox, G. H. Plummer, and R. H. Scott; Andrews Cup, Mr. W. Thomas; Walter Reid competition, Mr. R. H. Horsley; Anniversary Day tourney, Messrs. R. H. Horsley; G. H. Plummer, G. S. Kirkliam, H. W. Brookes; runners-up, Messrs. A. Parkinson, J. Darby, J. Newton, G. E. Bell. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. G. H. Plummer; vicepresidents, Messrs. A. J. Thomson, G. A. Wynyard, and E. Pierce; honorary secretary, Mr. J. •W.
