SUCCESSFUL TRAINERS

npHE honours among trainers at the Auckland fixture were remarkably well divided on this occasion, no fewer than thirteen mentors leading in winners out of the fourteen events. Pride of place went to T. Brady, the Penrose enthusiast, who attends to the preparation of Betty Moko, the only dual winner of the gathering. Others whose names were inscribed on the winning scroll were:—W. Hughes (Loch Moigh), W. B. Pollard (Appeal), J. Henderson (Terence Dillon), W. Warren (Great Earl), C. F. Jones (Mars), A. W. Broughton (Lady Dunmore), J. Simkin (Reremai), A. B. Carley (Floraline), M. B. Edwards (Harold Thorpe), J. Lynch (Uncle Bert), A. G. Warnock (Woodvale) and A. Hendricksen (Cardinal Logan).
