ABSENCE FROM OPENING MR MACMILLAN lUL (THE SUN S Parliammtari / 7\<' port rr .) WELLINGTON. Friday. The ill-health of Mr. C. E. Macmillan (Tauranga) has prevented him front making an appearance at the opening of Parliament, and the Hawse this afternoon granted him leave of absence for six days. Leave on account of urgent private business was also granted by the House for seven days to Sir Apirana Ngata (Eastern Maori).
