MEN BADLY HURT Press Association. WHAKATANE, To-day. A head-on collision occurred between two motor-cycles at Awakeri last evening. The riders were Horace Johnston, of Edgecumbe and Claud Shepherd, of Tarawera. Johnston was taken to Whakatane, where it was found that an eye had been injured through a piece of metal from his goggles becoming embedded.
