EFFECT ON PRODUCTION WHAT IS BEING DONE (Special to THE SUN.) ROTORUA. To-day. * Hie National Dairy Association conkence to-day passed a resolution to the Government that isection of the proposed dairy school u!d be entirely devoted to research r ork in cattle diseases, especially Jmitis and abortion. The conferee considered that much more should "done in this direction. One speaker said that a great deal backwardness in production was .robably due to these diseases. •ir.W. Singleton, Director of the Dairy -•vision, informed the conference that m man was engaged on the work at Wallaceville laboratory and the -pointment of another was being coniered. Canada and England were ; 'h working hard on these diseases. Several delegates were of the opinon that the Government had done •isle, but Mr. Cullen, of Maungaturoto, 'J that no results did not mean that • oihing was being done, as the GovernT? nt had done a great deal and de-en-ed credit for it.
