At the next fence Alaric, who was making up ground, hit hard and was pulled up, and Humourist fell at the next hurdle. Calluna then went away from the rest ’of the field and won nicely by six lengths. Oak Rose and Arataura fought it out for second place, Oak Rose getting up in time by a ne&k. Maidos was fourth.
