MR. COSGRAVE’S DILEMMA DOES NOT LIKE COALITION By Cable. — Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Tuesday. THOUGH the President of the Irish Free State and his Ministers are quite prepared to yield* up control, a change of Government is not likely, for the other political parties are not displaying any keenness to take office. Mr. Cosgrave has definitely rejected the idea of forming a Coalition Cabinet, says a Dublin message, and a change of Government is not likely. Among the members of the Labour Party the prospect of forming a (government is not seriously considered. The Farmers’ Party, at its congress, decided against a coalition and reaffirmed continuance of its independence. It pledged itself to support any Government which will maintain law. oi'der and stability. Organised parties of the Republicans are preparing for the demonstration to be held on Thursday to inaugurate Mr. de Valera’s campaign in opposition to the oath of allegiance.—A. and N.Z.
