Differences between the Mayor of Eastbourne,'Mr. Jones, and a majori»y of his council regarding the transport services culminated to-day in the resignation of Mr. Jones, who intimated that he had taken this step because, in his opinion, the new timetables and restrictions wilL impose hardship upon the residents, and an irretrievable loss on the borough.
