TAYLOR INJURES HAND HATTON TO MEET DELANEY Frank Taylor, who was to have J fought his first professional bout 1 against the Australian, Delaney, at * the Auckland Town Hall on Monday J next, cut his hand badly on a band- j saw while at work this week and \ will not now be able to meet Delaney. Mat Hatton, a well-known ex- j amateur, who was very popular with the “fans” a few years back, will take Taylor’s place. Hatton has been out of the game for some time, and this is his first professional right. As an amateur, Hatton was one of the very few men who secured a decision over Purdy. Hatton has represented New Zealand in Australia.
