Soccer Appeal Dismissed. —An appeal against the awarding of the solitary goal which decided the Chatham Cup replay between Shore and Tramways on Saturday came before the Management Committee of the Auckland Football Association last night. After hearing evidence, the committee decided to inform the Tramways Club, which made the appeal, that the scoring of the goal was a question of fact upon which the referee alone could give a ruling. The referee was definite in his statement that the goal was a fair one.
