NEW CHURCH FOR PONSONBY
Aim of All Saints A very beautiful design for a new church has been prepared for the parish authorities of All Saints’, Ponsonby, by Mr. L. S. Piper, architect, of Auckland. For many years a fund has been open for the erecting of a permanent church to replace the wooden structure that has been in use for so many years. The proposed building is of red brick, faced with stone, with a central tower and buttresses, and it is estimated to cost about £20,000.
