CAR AND CART COLLIDE
Old Man Injured A collision between a cart and a motor-car yesterday resulted in Mr. John Johansen being admitted to the Auckland Hospital suffering from injuries to his back. Mr. Johansen and a friend were driving along Jervois Road near the tram depot when a car collided with the vehicle from behind. Both men were thrown violently to the ground. The motorist did not wait to see what damage he had done, but drove on. Mr. Johansen, who is 71 years of age, Kves at ?5 Wilson Street, Grey Lynn. The hospital authorities report that he Ji&d a fair night.
