SANFORD LTD. ACTIVITIES ADDITION TO FLEET Expanding business and the need of ensuring ample future supplies ha led to the purchase by Sanford, Ltd., of another North Sea trawler, the Thomas Bryan. The Thomas Bryan is a vessel of 300 tons, similar to the others used by the firm and was built in Aberdeen in 1918, Her main dimensions are 115 feet in length, with a beam of 22 feet, and a 14-feet draught, and she is driven by 450-h.p. triple expansion engines, producing a speed of about 10 knots. She is classed A! at Lloyd’s.
