“Newsographs” Roll In Eight Guineas in Prizes NEWSOGRAPHS” are coming in every day. This competition of “mechanical art” shows signs of being the most popular one held for years.
A “Newsograph” is a picture made with a typewriter. Try your hand at the art; the first prfze, donated by the management of the New Regent Theatre, Is £3 3s, and there Is a second prize of £2 2s given by THE SUN while Paramount Pictures is providing six consolation prizes of 10s 6d each. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY The conditions of the competition are: “Newsographs” must be made with a typewriter; no other agency may be employed.
Ink. pencil, paint, or crayon must not be used. Each competitor must siffn the entry form printed on this page, and attach it to the entry.| Entries must be addressed—“Newsoflraph” THE SUN, 42 Wyndham Street, Auckland. Any number ot entries may be sei£ in. Entries must reach THE SUN Office by 5 p.m. on July 9.
