‘WORN OUT WITH WORRY’
WOMAN’S TRAGIC END POST-MORTEM ORDERED Described by a doctor as “having worn herself out with worry an 4 depression," Janet Matthews, a married woman, died in the Auckland Hospital yesterday. Evidence, given by her son, at an inquest this morning, showed that Mrs. Matthews, who was living apart from her husband. attempted to commit suicide by cutting her throat on June 17. She had been depressed for some time, but had not spoken of taking her life. The coroner, Mr. R. W. McKean, ordered a post-mortem examination.
