A. Young, Minister of Health, in an address last night. With better sanitation and the co-operation of the public local bodies, great progress had been made in decreasing the incidence of typhoid. Medical students at Otago University had not sufficient material to pursue their studies in this direction, and the Minister hoped that before long typhoid would be removed from the list of serious diseases in the Dominion.
