THE NEW REGENT

FASHION DISPLAY’S SUCCESS The gorgeous fashion display now being presented by the New Regent Theatre, in conjunction with Messrs. Milne and Choyce, continues to attract crowded and enraptured houses to the “theatre magnificent.” The brilliant entertainment has undoubtedly set a new standard in lavish presentation, and the fashion exhibition itself will be the talk of Auckland for many weeks to come. Creations rivalling those that are displayed in the beautiful Paramount film, “Fashions For Women,” are worn by the selected mannequins who take part. The film itself is something entirely new in the realms of filmdom, and stars Esther Ralston, with Raymond Hatton. Special music is provided by the Operatic Orchestra, under the baton of Maurice Guttridge, and Eddie Horton plays appropriate numbers on the Wurlitzer. Another official “Miss New Zealand” film is included in the supports.
