THE KAYS OF THE SUN

Canton and London. rpHE rays of THE SUN have -*■ extended even to Canton. Mr. Bartram, M.P., who was a known Chinese merchant who returned to Auckland to-day by the Marama from Sydney after a visit to China, received a copy of THE SUN at Canton. “An excellent effort,” he informed THE SUN to-day, “and a newspaper of which Auckland might well be proud.” Mr. Bartrum, M.P., who was a fellow passenger, was shown a copy of THE SUN in London by the High Commissioner, Sir James Parr. The Labour member was equally enthusiastic as to its merits.
