THE SPRING FIXTURE (From Our Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, Monday. At a meeting of the executive of the Whangarei A. and P. Association on Saturday, the following sub-commit-tees were appointed to carry out arrangements for the next spring show: Grounds, trade stands, and sideshows: Messrs. D. J. Finlayson, J- A. Finlay son, R. R. McLennan, H. McDonald and A. McDonald. Privileges: President and vice-presi-dent. Judges and stewards: Messrs. W. J. Finlayson, W. Bell, L. W. Nelson for outside classes, and Mr. Stringer and Mesdames Foote and Wright for inside classes. Advertising and Printing: President, vice-president and secretary. Receiving and despatching stock: Messrs. D. J- Fraser, W. B. Clotworthy, J McEwen and J McLean. Emergency and protest: President, vice-president and Mr. A. Clarke. Gate supervisor: Mr. H. W. Crawford. , _ Inside supervisor: Mr. C. Stringer. Cattle pavilion supervisor: Mr. R. TL McLennan. Sheep and pig pavilion supervisor: Mr. R. M. Campbell. Ring master: Mr H. J. H. McDonald. Guessing competitions: To be appointed by the judges and stewards’ committees.
