MOTOR-CYCLIST FINED Charles Arthur Wakelin, just retired from the army, told Mr. Poynton, S.M., at Onehunga yesterday* that as he was crossing from Royal Oak to Mount Albert Road, one Saturday evening at 7.15 o’clock, Harris came along on a motor-bicycle, drove it in a fast and dangerous manner, and bumped into him. When police investigation was made, it was found that Harris possessed no licence for his machine. After hearing sworn witnesses on both sides, His Worship odered Harris to pay costs on the summons for negligent driving, with 10s fine and 10s costs i >r having no licence.
