MOTORS IN NEW ZEALAND
Motor vehicles in the Dominion at the end of May totalled 166,079. The North Island had 102,657, of which 66,681 were cars, 16,181 trucks and 19,795 cycles. The South Island had 63,422, of which 41,269 were cars, 7,288 trucks and 14,865 cycles.
