TAURANGA COUNTY RATES
The Tauranga County Council fixed the general rates in each riding for the ensuing year as follows: —Katikati riding. 2id; Te Puna, 3d; Waimapu, 2id; Te Puke, 2ld and Maketu, 2d., all on the unimproved value. It was decided that the hospital rate should be 1- 3d in the £1 on *he capital value, a 5 per cent, discount to be allowed on all general rates paid within 30 days of due date.
